The experience starts upon arrival, when a potato truffle appetizer is served. From this simple yet exquisite dish alone, you know you are at the right place Everything was very good. The mortadella is top nutch, the pasta cooked om point and full of flavors, the veal was a winner. For meat lovers, they have a trolley of a wide variety of tongues feet shoulders/chicken pork cow We paired our lunch with Vietti Barolo 2021 red wine, recommended 👌
Nice restaurant old style with great atmosphere. The dishes we had were all good and the sevice nice. Was a bit loud but also completely full. Good choice if your in the center of Bologna.
Service was good, efficient. The lasagna was the standout of what we ordered. The tortellini in broth was a bit salty for my liking. Texture of the pasta was good though. The mortadella balanzoni was good, felt heavy with all of the other meats, should have balanced it with the cheese filling instead.
Perfect lunch before the much anticipated sold out Radiohead concert. All classics were amazing especially #lasagne. Top service by Federico and great pairing with two different #lambrusco. A Bologna institution that is still in great shape … would definitely come back
A true classic experience. The service is old school and perfectly professional in white suits. The food is simply fantastic, full of authentic flavors. I can’t wait to come back to try other dishes, especially bollito.
