A modern art display along with the Morandi collection. Most of the staff were the ones making noise with chatting to each other which was oddly distracting. Lovely to see the Morandi etchings and paintings again. Also modern art from recognizable names -Keith Haring & Renato Gattuso ( two large pieces in one room).
Not very exited about MaMbo. I guess I was expecting more from Bologna. Anyways we had to pay a visit there! Perhaps we were not lucky during Xmas period.
Since this trip was all about taking a break I was looking for something calm like a museum or art gallery and ended up visiting here 1. The staff were really kind :) 2. There was a lot to see 3. It was cool and comfortable which is perfect for summer I don’t know the first thing about art but after walking around and seeing all these beautiful works I somehow felt like I walked out a little more valuable myself Thank you☺️
Great collection. 10 euro entry with the temporary exhibition. 6 euro for permanent collection only.
Excellent museum with an amazing temporary exhibition of Ironic Art. Well set out and easy to navigate. Tickets are available online or in person. Staff all very friendly and museum is well maintained. Closed on Mondays so don't make the same mistake I did
